Check into your hotel in the elegant Recoleta neighborhood. Visit the famous Recoleta Cemetery and enjoy a world-class steak dinner at Fervor.
Day 2San Telmo & La Boca
Explore the cobblestone streets and antique markets of San Telmo. Head to Caminito in La Boca for colorful photos. In the evening, witness a high-drama Tango Show at Gala Tango.
Day 3Palermo Soho
Spend a relaxed day in Palermo. Shop for boutique leather goods and enjoy the "fika-style" cafe culture. Visit the MALBA museum for modern Latin American art.
Day 4Seabourn Official Hotel Day
Move to the Seabourn-designated hotel (often the Alvear Palace or Icon). This is a critical day for luggage weighing and tagging.
Day 5Journey to the End of the World
Take the private Seabourn Charter Flight from Buenos Aires (AEP) to Ushuaia. Enjoy a brief panoramic tour of the world’s southernmost city before embarking on your ship. Sail down the Beagle Channel at sunset.
Day 6-7The Drake Passage
Cross the legendary Drake. Use these days to attend lectures by naturalists, visit the Discovery Center, and prepare your gear. If the "Drake Lake" permits, spot Albatross and the first icebergs.
Day 8-12The Antarctic Experience
Your Captain and Expedition Leader will create a flexible path based on ice and weather in search of penguins, seals, orcas and humpback whales.
Day 13-14The Return Crossing
Head back north. This is the time for final "Fireside Chats" with the expedition team and sharing photos with new friends in the Seabourn Square.
Day 15Return to Buenos Aires
Disembark in Ushuaia and fly back to Buenos Aires via the Seabourn charter. Transfer to your hotel for one final night. Enjoy a celebratory dinner in Puerto Madero to toast your journey.
Day 16Adios!
Today, bid farewell to Buenos Aires for your onward journey.
